The old town is quite small and is best explored on foot.
Piran is a small medieval town on the Slovenian coast. Piran is a labyrinth of beautiful narrow streets with colorful old houses and is full of culture and history.
There are many souvenir shops and restaurants serving seafood. There is a buffet on the “Trg prvega maja” where they serve original Slovenian food. But if you want to taste Piran, I recommend the restaurant “Stara Gostilna”, which has been recognized by MICHELIN Guide.
