ZOO Ljubljana is home to around 100 different species of animals, with a total of around 400 animals.
A visit to the ZOO in Ljubljana Slovenia is always a good idea. At our ZOO, the native and more exotic animals inhabit the natural surroundings of the park Tivoli-Rožnik-Šišenski hrib environment.
ZOO in Ljubljana Slovenia not only offers a cosy up-close view of over 500 animals, but also various animal adventures or simply a nice opportunity to observe sea lions, big cats, giraffes, meerkats and other animals at feeding times. If you grab your night time camping gear, you can even spend the night here on certain dates!
The ZOO also offers a truly awesome playground for the children, as well as a place to relax for their parents and other visitors. The dogs are welcome too.
We provide a free parking space, but you can also get to the ZOO by Ljubljana city bus number 18 or 18L. The ZOO is open every day of the year!

Guided tours and zoo experiences
Guided tours and zoo experiences are also available for those who would like an even more in-depth animal experience, learn about conservation, and saving the planet.
