Gostilna in Pizzerija Jurman boasts more than 20 years of tradition. We offer you hot snacks, dishes to order, salads, desserts and pizzas from the wood-fired oven. At the restaurant Jurman we offer the possibility of reservations for small or large groups who can celebrate a birthday, baptism, communion, confirmation, anniversary and other jubilee or have a gathering after a funeral.

Gault&Millau’s Point Of View for Gostilna in Pizzerija Jurman

If you decide to visit Gostilna in Pizzerija Jurman, make sure you book a table: even though the restaurant is spacious, it gets very crowded so unannounced guests have difficulties finding a seat. When you open their menu, it immediately becomes clear why this is so. Jurman offers almost all the standard delicacies of Slovenian restaurants plus a bit more: seafood, grilled dishes, pizzas, burgers, Asian and vegetarian specialties, traditional Slovenian food, daily lunches, pasta and risotto, desserts, and many other treats. In the Green Garden burger, we discovered a variety of vegetables in layers: a round of roasted and marinated eggplant reigned supreme with the addition of onions and, above all, a basil pesto with chunks of sun-dried tomato. Sweet potatoes were a playful accompaniment. The grilled squid was soft, juicy and not at all rubbery, garnished by just the right amount of cooked chard with potatoes with a slight hint of garlic. A special surprise was the excellent steak, a perfectly cooked medium rare that melted in the mouth, a real treat for all taste buds. For desserts, we opted for succulent pancakes with walnut filling. Parents can enjoy their meal in peace, as the restaurant is child-friendly, with plenty of playground equipment and a rich selection of little ones’ favorites.
